FerryTalk – Solid Core Plywood, Hand Plane Restore & Shiny Things (FT23) Ferry Talk 2 Comments Solid core plywood? It had me wondering too. I ended up using that in my last project, the sandpaper cabinet, because that was what I had available to me on the Sunday afternoon I went to start my project. I hadn’t worked with it before. I am still on the fence on if I like it or not. I guess time will tell. I also started a hand plane restoration which I was hoping to have done much sooner but apparently my immune system had other plans and I ended up being pretty sick. By the way, I am a huge baby when I am sick. I have no shame in saying it either. However, the hand plane restore is coming along and I am very happy with the progress. I can’t wait to see it done.
