Drill Press Tip – Using Playing Cards in the Workshop FerryQuickBuild, FerryQuickTips, Projects, Shop Projects 2 Comments I never really know what to share with people. What folks will find interesting or beneficial. While working on a small project I was utilizing this technique using playing cards, and that’s when my ah ha moment went off. Meaning, my wife walked by and said that’s cool. So I figured I would share it with the rest of the class. When I used to wrench on cars, an old mechanic that worked a stall over from me always had oddball items in his toolbox. It always intrigued me. It only took a year or so of working along side for him to start divulging some of his secrets. Several decks of cards resided in his box and he never seemed to play a single card game. Sometimes curiosity doesn’t kill the cat. It can educate the wet behind the ears adolescent running on piss and vinegar. Well, I hope you enjoy!
