This mallet is made from curly maple. It measures 11 3/4″ long, has a head diameter of 2″ and a horse hide striking face. It is a two piece construction with turned head and oblique turned handle, all finished in satin lacquer. The end of the handle has my signature stamped into the surface and inlayed with black paint. The handle is attached to the head with a through tenon using a walnut wedge. I haven’t made many items available until now and decided I would put a couple up for purchase for those interested. This is completely handmade by me and only one is available. Shipping is included to anywhere in the continental United States.
