I was in the shop testing out the fence system on my new table saw. My wife saw the thin strips I was cutting and asked what they were for. I told her I was just testing out the accuracy of the saw and she said they would be nice to make a basket from. What a great idea I told her. I proceeded to cut more thin strips and attempted to weave her an Easter basket. It was a really quick project that only took me a few hours to make. It was more or less a test to see if the less than 1/8″ strips would cooperate and not snap. Had I spent a bit more time on it I probably could have done an even better job, however I was more than pleased with the results.
