Three pieces of wood for a quick and easy project.  It can be made out of any wood or you could even paint it but I have an upcoming project where I wanted it to match the wood species.  No need for fasteners, just glue.  I used a belt sander, miter saw and bandsaw, but hand tools would work as well if you have a bit more time.  Le Bucket Lid makes it’s debut.
