This was my debut project on YouTube, and by no mistake. My son had started showing interest in helping out in the shop and I remember building something similar with my dad when I was around 7 years old. I figured what better way to get all three of us together and having fun. Family is rather important to me and the memories we have of one another are irreplaceable. I encourage all of you to get out there and make those memories before life passes us by and we no longer have the opportunity to share in our experiences. I’m normally don’t get too sappy with my projects but this one will stick in my mind for years to come. One thing that made it extra special for my little guy was I let him pick out everything from hardware, wood & paint. He was so proud of what he helped build and really took ownership of the project. Whether or not it is a woodworking project, arts and crafts or simply playing catch, get out there and make some memories.

I thought it was absolutely great, the three of you together. Real cute how he handled glue! He got a kick out of the nailer, too!
Thank you, these family project mean a great deal to me.
