I spend longer than I should online looking at things being made & created. These are some things along the way that I find noteworthy and worth a look. Although not always directly woodworking related, it is still very interesting stuff. Some of the videos are from newer small channels and some from huge established channels, but all would appreciate your support of a like, share or comment about their projects. I don’t have a set schedule per say for these posts, I just share them as I find some cool stuff.
Sterling Davis
Ever thought about getting into pen turning? There seems to be plenty of information on techniques, but very little about cost. Sterling gives the rundown on how much you can expect to shell out when getting into pen turning.
DIY Huntress
Welcome Sam to the beast that is known as Youtube. Her very first video of hopefully many more.
Chris Salomone
Chris has a bit of a newer channel with only 4 videos currently. That won’t be like that for long. He is excellent at telling video stories about woodworking. Worth checking out for sure!
April Wilkerson
Compressed air in the shop is a must for me. Having it close at hand makes sure you always have it when you need it. April takes care of this with piping her shop for air.
If you haven’t seen my shop air system, take a look below.
Jay Bates

The Woodworking Podcast
Now that we have had a video from Jay, April and myself, I figured I’d let you know about The Woodworking Podcast. As the name implies, it is a woodworking podcast that April, Jay, and myself do. There are a few ways to listen & subscribe. Check out The Woodworking Podcast for more info.
Nemo
If you are in a profession where you need a drill to be submersible then have a look at Nemo. Even if you are not an underwater swiss cheese maker, this thing is plain cool.
Matt Cremona
Unique Mother’s Day gift incorporating brass in walnut.
3D Printed Metal
I can think of 100 things I’d use this for, 3 or 4 are even practical.
Beer Keg Bathroom
Now why didn’t I think of that? Super industrial bathroom I came across in town. They custom made urinals from beer kegs. What do you guys think, cool or not?

All great stuff Nick!…….those beer keg urinals made me think of Matt Cremona’s Back to Where it Began video where he brings the secretary desk-bookcase back to where it was a tree, the beer makes a similar journey.
