Noteworthy Woodworking #22

I think it’s obvious I spend longer than I should online looking at things being made & created.  I like all sorts of videos but always seem to like videos of things being created.  Some of the videos are from newer small channels and some from huge established channels, but all would appreciate your support of a like, share or comment about their projects.  This week I have a couple that blew my mind.  Some for the simplicity and another for the sheer intricacy.

Japanese Marquetry

It’s no surprise to most folks that the Japanese people have been some of the most prolific woodworkers throughout the years.  This video solidifies that thought.

Perfect Kerf Splines

Ever struggle making splines to fit exactly in a saw kerf?  This is one of most simple approaches to making splines that I have seen!

Allan Batty

Ever wonder how an hour can pass in the blink of an eye if you are really into whatever you’re doing?  I’m still fairly new to woodturning and the skew chisel, but eager to learn.  This one is just under an hour long but has years of knowledge jam packed into the 55 minutes.

Wooden Table Saw

And I’m not just talking about a circular saw mounted to plywood.  If you want it bad enough and are willing to put in the effort a lot is possible.

Inspire To Make

Have you even wanted to make a miniature sword from a nail?  Then boy do I have a video for you!
