I think it’s obvious I spend longer than I should online looking at things being made & created.  This week seems to be the week of the scroll saw.  I even made a special video of a recent shop visit with my son using the scroll saw for the first time!  Some of the videos are from newer small channels and some from huge established channels, but all would appreciate your support of a like, share or comment about their projects.  I don’t have a set schedule per say for these posts, I just share them as I find some cool stuff.

Steve Carmichael

Steve brings us 10 scroll saw projects that are fun and easy to make.  This video is perfect timing as I’m looking at getting a scroll saw in the near future for my son to learn on and hopefully get more into woodworking.

MF Woodshop

Speaking of the scroll saw, Mike Fulton adds a ScrollNado to his saw for added dust collection.

I Visit MF Woodshop

Continuing on the scroll saw, I had the chance to stop at Mike Fulton’s shop on the way back from WIA 2016.  My son got to try his hand at the scroll saw for the very first time.  By the way, this video is on my second channel.  If you are interested in vlogs from my shop go ahead and subscribe.

DIY Tyler

Back again to dust collection.  But this one is of Tyler G making a custom bandsaw table with built in dust collection.

Traditional Chinese Woodworking

I don’t understand much Chinese, but this is an interesting video none the less.  Woodworking can be very visual.  Even though there is a language barrier, I still picked up a couple tips from this video.

Quad Router

Sandra Christopher makes handmade clothes pins.  Her idea to gang up 4 routers is a really smart way to streamline the process.

Dustin Penner

A really cool headphone stand by Dustin.  The copper and wood really go great together.

Guy’s Woodshop

Guy Dunlap has a multi-video series on building a round table.  In this installment he is working on the sunburst veneer top.  He does some pretty amazing work and he’s worth checking out!

Thanks for the mention Nick! I’m really enjoying the scroll saw a lot. If you get one, get a good one because the quality really makes a big difference. It’s nice to sit down and make something with the fan blowing on me in this hot weather too.
